• Research & Development Services: Scientific research, water quality analysis, and marine biodiversity assessments
• Sustainability Programs: Environmental compliance, eco-certification support, and sustainable fisheries consulting
• Training & Workshops: Educational programs for fishing communities, aquaculture farmers, and marine industry professionals

The specific terms, deliverables, timelines, and pricing for each service are outlined in individual service agreements. These Terms govern the general relationship between you and Nekton India unless superseded by a specific written contract.

By using our services, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information when submitting inquiries or engaging services
• Use our website and services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with applicable Indian laws and regulations
• Not misrepresent your identity, qualifications, or business nature when engaging our services
• Cooperate fully with our team in providing the information and access necessary to deliver services effectively
• Pay all applicable fees in a timely manner as per agreed payment schedules
• Comply with all relevant environmental, fisheries, and aquaculture regulations in your jurisdiction

6. 💳 Payment Terms

All fees for Nekton India's services are agreed upon in writing prior to service commencement. Unless otherwise specified in a service agreement:

• Invoices are due within 15 days of the invoice date
• A 50% advance payment may be required before initiation of major consultancy or project work
• Late payments attract interest at 18% per annum from the due date
• All prices are exclusive of applicable GST, which will be charged additionally
• Refunds are subject to the specific terms of each service agreement and our Refund Policy
• In case of dispute, payments must continue for undisputed portions of any invoice

We accept payments via bank transfer, UPI, demand draft, and other methods as specified at the time of service engagement.

7. ⚠️ Limitation of Liability

Our total cumulative liability to you for any claims arising from these Terms or our services shall not exceed the total amount paid by you to Nekton India in the six (6) months preceding the claim.

We do not guarantee specific outcomes from our consultancy or advisory services, as results depend on numerous factors including client implementation, environmental conditions, market dynamics, and regulatory changes.

Disclaimer of Warranties

Our website and services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that our website will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of harmful components.

8. 🚫 Prohibited Activities

You agree not to engage in any of the following activities when using Nekton India's website or services:

• Violating any applicable local, state, national, or international laws or regulations
• Using our services to facilitate illegal fishing, poaching, or environmentally harmful activities

Arbitration

The arbitration shall be conducted in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, in the English language, before a sole arbitrator mutually agreed upon by both parties.

Jurisdiction

For matters not subject to arbitration, you agree that the courts of Chennai, Tamil Nadu, shall have exclusive jurisdiction to adjudicate any disputes arising under these Terms.

Nekton India reserves the right to terminate or suspend your access to our website and services immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including without limitation if you breach these Terms.

Upon termination:

• Your right to use our services will immediately cease
• Any outstanding payments become immediately due and payable
• Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, indemnification, and dispute resolution clauses) shall remain in effect
• We may retain your data for the periods specified in our Privacy Policy

You may terminate your relationship with Nekton India by providing 30 days' written notice, subject to the terms of any specific service agreements in place.
